The concept of designing the studio is a simple one; creating a pleasant and transparent working environment with the aid of space planning and material selection.

The office is located on the 25th floor of a high-rise building within a busy corporate district of Kuwait. It is surrounded by glass curtained walls giving the space a luminous feel and 360 degree view of the city.

The space is divided into two main sections: public and semi- private. The public section consists of a reception, a kitchen, two wash-rooms, a seating area and an open working space for the ARCHJS team. The seating area is centralized; dividing the working space into two structures creating a parallel sense of balance. Each structure consists of four desks and contains a transparent partition of brown stained glass to provide privacy and surveillance to the space.

The semi-private area is located in the back of the office space looking over the functioning working spaces. Within this area there is a main desk. This custom-made desk plays a significant role in shaping the work environment as it extends horizontally mixing the use of the office space to a meeting room. Also, metal sliding doors are applied giving the option of privacy when meetings are in progress.
The juxtaposition of contrasting materials such as black mirror, steel, and wood creates cutting-edge combination allowing the design of the office to be distinctive.
