Johnny Rockets is a popular American franchise well-known for its 1950's influenced diner-style experience. ArchJS was provided the task of redesigning the restaurants interior to meet the contemporary market today.

While still maintaining the restaurants essence, ArchJS achieved to offer a more urbanized feel to this specific branch at Divonne Complex, Kuwait. Chrome and red accents are adopted from the original design and new materials are introduced.

Curved elements, commonly seen in the restaurant's exteriors, are also adopted in this design shaping the central bulkhead hanging over the open kitchen. This suspended seam supported bulkhead is transparent and curvaceous in shape creating an industrialized feel to the environment. It also carries the typical graphics of the Johnny Rockets brand and is backlit from the inside lighting the service area below.

New materials such as custom-made perforated stainless steel sheets are applied; drawing graphic design inspiration from the 'juke box' usually displayed on tables in original branches of the restaurant.
