'Polished' is a nail spa located within a metropolitan area of Kuwait, the Salhiya Plaza. The concept of polished is of being in a bright, transparent and organized sterile space. With its synchronized seating layout, it provides customers easy direction as to where they desire to move.

The space is distributed into four different sections. The first being the main attribute of the design of the space; a cocoon like structure segregating the retail area from the service area. This dominant cocoon like structure houses various nail spa products- such distractions that would interfere with the space if exposed abundantly. Molded in white corian, this curvaceous 3-dimensional form plays a significant role in shaping the interior.

The service areas are distributed in to two main sections. The first area contains six manicure and pedicure stations carefully aligned next to one another separated with low flat transparent curtains. Such implied divisions can be opened or closed depending on desired privacy of the client. The second area is a manicure bar catering to customers that are on the go. The manicure bar consists of three stations; each fixed with a sink upon a custom made table facing a black mirrored wall to contrasting the space provided.

Surrounding the boundaries of the interior are private and semi-private rooms for VIP clientele and storage space.

The central planning of Polished has allowed it to be the ultimate tranquil setting given its minimal, clean and direct qualities
